Westfarms 710

Texas Longhorn brood cow - Westfarms 710

Westfarms 710 comes from my good friends Maurice Ladnier and Matt Westmoreland’s partnership. Wow, what a tremendous cow she is. I don’t think they knew what they were selling when they parted with her. She traces back to both Starbase Commander and Clear Wind so her huge base is no surprise. However, I feel she  carries it well. She will need that base when her horns reach close to 100″ tip to tip. She is over 78″ TTT not even four years of age yet. “Seven-ten”‘s first calf was a heifer sired by Stars Heavy Artillery. This petty baby, Bright Star Flare, was very special heifer and sold to a good friend of mine. Seven-ten delivered a bull calf on February 17, 2021 in the middle of the Texas Winter Storm on a night when it was 17 degrees and sleeting. She took good care of her baby and he did just fine. I called him Star Storm. He is sired by Wild Frontier Star. (Picture taken 04/20/2020)
