BITTERSWEET STAR

Bittersweet Star is the last natural calf from my wonderful bull, Starbase Commander, that I had to put down in 2023. That was a very hard decision to make but at sixteen years of age it was time. Starbase produced many top offspring for me, including three 100″ TTT daughters, and I think this pretty heifer is one of the special ones. Her dam, PG 50 Roses, is a beautiful cow that measures over 85″ TTT. I love the length of body, nice hip and femininity on this pretty heifer. Bittersweet’s first calf was a gorgeous heifer Sweet ‘N Bitter Star, sired by Star Defender. She is now confirmed pregnant back to Star Defender for her second calf. (Picture taken 08/01/2025)
