STARRY SPRING NIGHT

Starry Spring Night is a rare Texas Longhorn embryo twin from the IVF flush of Nike Star Tobiano to Cut’N Dried. The embryo split after implantation and was I ever surprised to find two babies up and nursing the recipient cow the morning they were born – and they were both very good size calves which is unusual for twins also. The recipient cow is a commercial cow and did an awesome job raising both of them. They were inseparable for their early lives. Spring has her first calf at side, a bull sired by Silent Star. I named him Star-Sky ‘N Hutch. Spring has been exposed to LAG FIRE for her next calf. (Picture taken 06/10/2026)
