STARRY SUMMER NIGHT

Starry Summer Night is a rare Texas Longhorn embryo twin from the IVF flush of Nike Star Tobiano to Cut’N Dried. The embryo split after implantation and was I ever surprised to find two babies up and nursing the recipient cow the morning they were born – and they were both very good size calves which is unusual for twins also. The recipient cow is a commercial cow and did an awesome job raising both of them. Where you find one, you will find the other one also. Now they are weaned and are both confirmed pregnant to Silent Star for their first calf. (Picture taken 09/30/2025)
